CoreBalance Therapy LLC offers a free back and neck clinic designed for the general public to gain information about how to manage neck and back pain.The clinic offers take-home advice regarding posture, appropriate body biomechanics, symptom self-management and injury/pain prevention.
Our therapists are experienced in diagnosis and management of acute and chronic neck and back pain.

Pilates Classes

The demand for Pilates and core strengthening is on the rise. It is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body through core stabilization.
Specific exercises allow improved muscle coordination.

Running Clinics

CoreBalance Therapy, LLC offers a running clinic designed for runners in the general public. The next running clinic is scheduled for Thursday, February 28, 2008. Cost for the clinic is free! Space is limited, so reserve your spot today. Click here for more information!
The clinic offers advice on training errors, shoes and footwear modifications, gait analysis and biomechanics. It also covers Do's and Don'ts regarding running injuries, training guidelines for injured runners and injury and pain prevention.
Sarah Hudelson, PT regularly participates in long distance running events, Amy Flory, PT is an accomplished outdoor athlete, and Thomas Gardner, PT, ATC has experience working with professional and collegiate athletes. Collectively they possess extensive knowledge in gait biomechanics, pain management and injury prevention.

Post-Partum Body Care Classes

This class is once a month and is for women who are 0-6 months post-partum. If you are wondering why you are having pain and how you can stop it, or how you can "get your body back", this is the class for you The Post-Partum Body Care class is one and a half hours long and costs $5. This class is scheduled once every 2 months. Topics covered will include:
* How and when to exercise your abdominal muscles (they won't "come back" otherwise).
* How to position yourself and your baby to avoid injury and pain.
* Special considerations for mothers who had C-sections.
* Your vagina--will it ever be the same again?
Combine this class with our Mom & Baby class for comprehensive self-care and strengthening for both you and your new baby!

Mom and Baby Classes Classes

This class occurs once every other month and is for moms (and dads) with young babies not yet crawling. This class is one and a half hours long and costs $5. Topics include:
* Infant massage
* Exercise for parent(s) incorporating developmental play with the baby
Handouts will be provided for later reference.
Combine this class with our Post-Partum Body Care class for comprehensive self-care and strengthening for both you and your new baby!

Independent Exercise Programs

Independent training programs:

We offer two types of training programs:
1. Post-rehabilitation training program. This program is for the person who is nearing discharge from physical therapy and is in need of minimal supervision for the exercise program prescribed by the physical therapist. The cost for evaluation and prescribing the program is included in the physical therapy charges to the insurance.
2. Goal-based training program. This program is for someone who wishes to reach a specific fitness goal, such as hiking the Grand Canyon, training for a triathlon, training for a first long-distance run, etc. The initial evaluation and program prescription costs $100.
10-session punch cards for independent sessions cost $80.
