CoreBalance Therapy LLC started as Frontier Therapy Services in 1999 by Amy Flory, PT.
Previously, Amy had been working for a large rehabilitation corporation. She became frustrated and discouraged by the limitations put on her practice by executives who knew nothing about good physical therapy practice and her patients.
She went on her own, not knowing if it was possible to provide truly individualized and meaningful treatment within the confines of the current healthcare system.
Sarah Hudelson, PT, began her practice with Amy in 2002 and became a partner in 2005.
The clinic name was changed also at this time to better reflect our treatment philosophy. We believe in finding a balance in our own lives between professional, emotional, physical and familial needs. We believe, and research supports, that muscle and joint IM-balance is the root of many types of pain. We aim to guide the patient into a place of balance in their body and in their responses to stresses placed on the body. We do this through a highly individualized treatment plan including exercise, manual techniques and instruction in self-management of symptoms.
